Offense

QB Roy Hampton, Sr., Trinity (Texas)
Hampton shattered school and conference records with seven touchdown passes in Trinity's 61-28 against Rose-Hulman. He finished 22-for-30 with 322 yards, and ran for 41 yards and another touchdown.

OL Matt Girard, Jeff Woltz, Luke Merritt, Robert White, Sherm Sackett, Capital 
The group blocked for a season-high 191 rushing yards in the Crusaders' 31-17 win against Baldwin-Wallace. It was also the most yards on the ground allowed by Baldwin-Wallace this season. Capital gained 496 yards on 62 offensive plays, for an 8.0 average.

RB Justin Frisk, Jr. Thomas More
Frisk carried the ball 19 times for 221 yards and a touchdown in a 20-19 win against Adrian.

WR Rick Valenzuela, Jr., Oberlin
Valenzuela caught nine passes for a school-record 239 yards and a season-high three touchdowns in a 56-26 loss to Wabash.

WR Dwayne Tawney, So., Whitworth
Tawney led Whitworth to a 23-20 win against Simon Fraser by catching 17 passes for 191 yards and two touchdowns. He caught the winning touchdown, a 28-yarder, with 1:05 to play.

WR Andy Pillay, Sr., Kenyon
Pillay played both ways for Kenyon, with 17 catches for 203 yards and four touchdowns to go along with 11 tackles (seven solo), three passes broken up and an interception in a 52-50 triple OT loss to Denison.

TE Matt Wagaman, Jr., Franklin & Marshall 
Wagaman caught six passes for a career-high 117 yards in a 37-14 loss to Carnegie Mellon.

Defense

DL Doug Mittelstaedt, Jr., UW-Stevens Point
Blocked a 28-yard UW-La Crosse field goal attempt with 21 seconds left to preserve UW-Stevens Point's 17-16 win against the Eagles, marking the Pointers' first win in La Crosse since 1962. Had five solo tackles, including one sack, as part of a defense that held UW-La Crosse to 56 yards rushing on 32 carries.

DL Tim Prater, Jr., Kalamazoo
Had seven tackles (four solo) including three tackles for loss and two sacks in a 38-13 win against Colorado College. Kalamazoo held a Colorado College team that had averaged nearly 190 yards rushing per game to just 5 yards.

DL Mike Salmons, Jr., Thomas More
Salmons had just three total tackles, but they were all behind the line of scrimmage in the Saints' 20-19 win against Adrian. He also broke up a pass and recovered a fumble following Thomas More's go-ahead score, sealing the victory.

DL Tim Williams, Jr., Augustana
Williams led the Augustana defense with seven tackles, five for loss and four sacks, en route to shutting out conference rival Elmhurst.

LB Matt Wilchinski, Jr., Western Maryland
Posted seven tackles (six solo) and an interception in Western Maryland's 28-25 overtime win against conference rival Muhlenberg. His interception led up a touchdown, and his tackles on the first two plays of overtime forced Muhlenberg to kick a field goal, enabling the Green Terror to win with a touchdown.

LB Rennie Gash, So., Thiel
Gash scored three touchdowns on the day in a 40-27 win against Grove City, two on carries on offense and one on one of his two interceptions. He also broke up another pass and had nine solo tackles, two sacks.

LB Thomas Robertson, Fr., Austin
Robertson led an Austin College defense that limited McMurry to only 39 yards rushing on 27 carries. He finished the afternoon with a team-high 11 tackles (seven solos), three tackles for loss and one sack.

DB T.J. Hess, Sr., Widener
Hess led a Widener defense that shut out No. 16 Lycoming 35-0. Hess led the team in tackles with 14, including seven solo, and returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown to give the Pioneers a 21-0 lead late in the first half. The senior also had three pass breakups.

DB Dennis Kodack, Jr., Susquehanna
Kodack had 10 tackles, nine solo, and blocked the potential game-tying extra point with 24 seconds remaining as Susquehanna posted its first win of the year at previously unbeaten Albright 24-23.

DB Ryan Nohe, So., Bethany
Nohe made eight tackles, six solo, and intercepted two passes. His second INT was returned 28 yards for a touchdown that pushed Bethany's lead to 20-0 in an eventual 34-7 win. Nohe also returned two kickoffs for 67 yards, including a 48-yard return.

DB Chris Speck, Sr., RPI
Speck had seven solo tackles, intercepted a pass and broke up another in a 31-14 win against Rochester.

Special teams

K Dave Weller, So., Pacific Lutheran
Weller kicked the Lutes' first field goal since November 1997 and made all four of his extra-point attempts in a 31-20 win against Linfield. The 23-yarder was the first attempt in a span of 36 games.

P Christian Kearns, Jr., Widener
Kearns averaged 41 yards on seven punts, including a 60-yarder when the Pioneers were backed up at their own 10-yard line. He put another kick inside the 10, and made a touchdown-saving tackle on another punt.

RET Jim Sears, Jr., RPI
Three kickoff returns for 137 yards helped the Engineers win the field position battle in a 31-14 win against Rochester.
