GREENSBORO, N.C. – Five more high school seniors have paid their deposits to Guilford College and expressed their intent to play with the Quakers' football team this fall. The latest round of recruits includes four all-conference selections and raises the number of head coach Chris Rusiewicz's incoming class to 26.

Gus Chambers, Jr. (Ellerbe, N.C.) earned All-Southeastern 4A Conference recognition as a linebacker for coach Paul Hoggard's Richmond Senior High School team last fall. The 5-10, 195-pounder ranked third on the Raiders with 115 tackles as a senior. He helped the team to an 11-2 record in 2014.

Cameron Garland (Concord, N.C.) lettered twice for coach Donnie Kiefer's Central Cabarrus High School team as a defensive lineman and fullback. He also lettered in football at Concord High School and the Cannon School before moving to Central Cabarrus. Garland also participated as a thrower for the Central Cabarrus' track and field team was part of the school's Future Business Leaders of America club.

Kedlin Huntley (Winston-Salem, N.C.) lettered twice for coach Adrian Snow's West Forsyth High School team and helped the Titans to a 21-5 record in that time. He twice earned All-Central Piedmont 4AA Conference honors, including as a senior when he was also named the league's Special Teams Player of the Year. The 5-6, 160-pound receiver/cornerback earned All-Northwest honors from the Winston-Salem Journal in 2013 and received honorable mention as a senior. He had 68 tackles, 14 pass breakups and four interceptions in 2013 when the Titans went 12-2 and reached the state quarterfinals. Huntley also played baseball and was an all-conference sprinter on West Forsyth's track and field team. He looks to study exercise and sport sciences at Guilford.

Nelson Sutton (Powhatan, Va.)was a three-year letter winner for coach Jim Woodson's Powhatan High School unit. The 6-4, 245-pound two-way lineman earned First Team All-Conference 19 and First Team Jefferson District laurels on both sides of the ball as a senior and was a Second Team All-4A South Region pick on offense. He helped his team win the 2014 district title and reach the state playoffs. Sutton also lettered with the wrestling team and received three academic excellence awards from the Virginia High School League. He intends to study exercise and sport sciences at Guilford.

Rae White (Burlington, N.C.) heads to Guilford after a solid career at Walter M. Williams High School where he lettered four years for coach David Green's club.
