The first home night game in Cal Lutheran history won't soon be forgotten, as the No. 20 Kingsmen rallied from a 24-0 halftime deficit, scoring the final 28 points to beat No. 13 Redlands 28-24.
The win gives Cal Lutheran the first leg up in the SCIAC race, one anticipated to be between just Cal Lutheran and Redlands.
Cal Lutheran climbed back to within a 24-21 deficit with just
over three minutes left in regulation. Redlands elected to punt
facing fourth-and-short near midfield and pinned the Kingsmen at
their own 2-yard line.
Quarterback Jake Laudenslayer put his coach's thoughts into action
as he engineered a 10-play, 98-yard drive. He capped it off by
plunging in from 1 yard out in the final seconds to give Cal
Lutheran a four-point lead with only seconds remaining. Game story

Adrian jumped out to a 20-0 lead in the first half on four short drives and Trine never recovered as the Bulldogs knocked off the No. 17 Thunder 26-7.
It's Trine's first regular-season loss since Sept. 26, 2009, to Franklin. The Thunder hadn't lost in the MIAA since 2007.Ryan Hargraves threw for just 130 yards and was picked off four times for Trine.
St. Olaf scored 20 fourth-quarter points to spoil Bethel's homecoming and upend the No. 5 Royals 30-28. Stephen Asp and Jake Schmiesing each went over 100 yards receiving and caught fourth-quarter touchdowns in the win.

Second-ranked Mount Union ground out a 14-6 win on a muddy field at Ohio Northern. The Purple Raiders managed just 226 yards of total offense and leaned on Jeremy Murray for 41 carries, getting 130 yards.
Mount Union held Ohio Northern to 31 yards in the first quarter and the Polar Bears returned the favor, forcing three-and-outs on the first three Mount Union possessions. Mount Union broke through on a 9-yard Murray TD run midway through the second quarter and took a 6-0 into the half. Murray added another touchdown and a two-point conversion to push the lead to 14-0. The Polar Bears scored on a Tyler Rue touchdown pass to Frank Thien with 6:33 to play.
After Ohio Northern missed the extra point, Mount Union recovered the ensuing onside kick. The Purple Raiders handed the ball to Murray seven consecutive times, but couldn't run out the clock. The Polar Bears took over at their 19 and got as far as the Mount Union 28 before Charles Dieusel sacked Rue and forced a fumble that the Purple Raiders recovered to ice the game.

Darius Wilson, LiDarral Bailey and Elijah Hudson each ran for more than 100 yards as fourth-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor took care of No. 19 Louisiana College 36-10. Wildcats quarterbacks completed just 26 of 55 passes and threw three interceptions in the defeat.
No. 3 St. Thomas took out years of frustration on its archrival, defeating St. John's 63-7. Colin Tobin ran for 129 yards and Fritz Waldvogel had 131 yards receiving in the victory. The 56-point loss is the worst in John Gagliardi's legendary coaching career at St. John's. St. Thomas drew an announced crowd of 10,421 fans.
Rob Gallik completed 24 of 36 passes as Illinois Wesleyan remained unbeaten, knocking off No. 7 Wheaton 24-19. Sixth-ranked Linfield held off Willamette 20-10. No. 11 Wesley defeated Charleston Southern 33-20, making the Wolverines the second Division III team this season to defeat a Division I FCS scholarship opponent. No. 9 North Central shut out Carthage, handing the Red Men their first defeat, 24-0.
St. John Fisher started two of its scoring drives on the Alfred side of the field and defeated the No. 14 ranked Saxons 17-3. Wade Kline picked off Tommy Secky in the red zone to set up the first score and Troy Sant picked off Secky in the end zone to set up the second.
Top-ranked UW-Whitewater pulled away in the second half, defeating UW-Platteville 34-14 to win its 34th consecutive game. (Photo gallery.) Levell Coppage got 168 yards on 30 carries in the win. No. 8 Thomas More rolled up 35 second-quarter points in defeating Thiel 50-7.
On Friday night, No. 10 Kean blocked a field goal with less than a minute remaining to preserve the Cougars' 7-6 win against The College of New Jersey. Chris DiMicco scored Kean's lone touchdown with a 2-yard run in the first quarter.
